Hello👋🏼, Thank you so much for taking the time to read my newsletter📰! In the last 2 months, I finished my carbon capture project, saw a rocket launch, and more…
More Sustainable Way To Barbeque
Last time I let you know about the negative impact on the environment from charcoal grills. The alternatives to charcoal simply have too many downsides. Whether they don’t provide as much taste or cost too much. In July I tackled that problem using an activated carbon filter for the exhausted CO2 to bond. This worked pretty well capturing around 93.3% of the CO2.
Although the solution had some downsides, it could definitely be a viable solution for the future capturing up to 46.6 thousand tons of CO2 per year. If you’d like to learn more about the project, here is the website.
Vacation to Florida
To relax I got to spend time in St.Petersburg Florida. That included seeing my first rocket launch! Plus it was only 3 km away! Here is a Gif to share my excitement!
Activate
This year I really love being an innovator at The Knowledge Society. From completing several hackathons, working with Walmart, and starting a moonshot project. This was one of my best years as I learned about myself tremendously. So to continue my fun, I will be returning to The Knowledge Society for their second-year program called activate.
